My Car's History

I am currently trying to find out as much history as I can on an old Trans-Am Camaro I have recently purchased. The car has been verified by some well informed authorities (SVRA, Historic Trans-Am Registry), but I am sure there are more photos of my car when it originally competed. I would love to be able to make my car appear as it did originally through the aid of some old pictures. I’d also love to have pictures for a collage to be shown at vintage racing events.. to which I intend to compete. I just want to tell you up front, I sure do appreciate any information you may be able to provide.

The car in question can best be described as:

· 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28
· Yellow with black stripes
· Driven by Richard Sterbins, Richard Schiesz, William MacFarlane, Joe Amato and others

SCCA Trans-Am Events

Lime Rock Park, 5/6/72, Trans-Am, started 25th, finished 13th, car #64
Watkins Glen, 6/17/72, Trans-Am, on entry list, no known result

IMSA Events (“TO” Class)

Daytona, 11/21/71, "TO" Class, unknown start position, finished 9th, car #14
Danville, 4/16/72, "TO" Class, unknown start position, finished 2nd, car #64
Lime Rock, 5/29/72, "TO" Class, unknown start position, finished 3rd, car #64
Mid-Ohio, 7/9/72, "TO" Class, started 5th, finished 3rd, car #64
The car was then driven from 1973 to 1975 by a Mr. William MacFarlane.  The car was yellow for the first two IMSA races, but changed to white after the accident in the Lime Rock IMSA race.   I am not yet sure of all the car numbers MacFarlane ran under.
